Two photos .. a mini panoramic photo. TV aerials, a for sale sign, a roof’s eve/corner, road signage, power cable to signage, car reg plates and telephone wires from this pic.

The pub is mainly a french/english resturant and very nice too I might add (free meal please Doug, for your free plug!). If I had a date to go on, I’d take the lucky lady here..she’d get the free meal lol!

The setting sun was incredibly bright and it was very difficult to balance the extremely bright sky with the foreground. But with some Lee grads and the brilliant Canon 5D the light has almost been tamed! Still lots of very dark areas but I think these add to the drama of the scene.

Consisting of two shots; the toaster and the bread. The toasters reflection is real, no PS (acrylic glass). The color reflections in the toaster were made using a tv set on the upper left – pathetic, I know… ). A SB800 @ 1/16 from above through a diy softbox triggered by the built in flash (Nikon CLS).

Taken back in March 2008, this Tornado GR4 made an awesome entry into the Cadair Idris Pass. HDR processed using Photomatix Pro 3.2 and saved @ 1200×800.

Went out to Nth Narrabeen for the first time this morning. The challenge with shooting this pool is that so many others have done a great job of shooting it before, it’s hard to get something unique…. Thought I’d feature the sky with a super long exposure (about 3 min I think). The colours are pretty intense on this image… I haven’t saturated them at all, not sure whether I should be toning them down…. kind of seems like a shame though to desaturate a RAW capture… usually I’m adding some saturation.

What do others think…. to intense colour or OK?

If anybody is interested in how I processed this image, I described it in My Blog entry today
